FAQs

What exactly is critical communication?

Critical communication is the important information your employees and stakeholders need to know to be safe and compliant. Depending on your industry this could be information like safety updates or codes of conduct.

I’m an employee, where are the questions relevant to me?

Visit our Mobile App page, the App Store or Google Play for more information on our free mobile app specifically designed and built for Employees. Our focus in developing Cribber is on empowering employees on complex worksites to have the information they need when they need it.

Is Cribber secure?

Yes absolutely! You sign in to Cribber over an encrypted SSL connection and all files and content is stored securely on our servers. Communication to and from our servers to the Cribber app is also sent via an encrypted SSL connection. For detailed information about the more technical elements of Cribber, view our Technical FAQs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept MasterCard and Visa and all payments are handled through our payment provider Stripe. For approved customers we can also invoice for payment via bank transfer. Please contact us if you would prefer this method of payment.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

Not at all, you simply pay monthly for your use in advance. Additional use during a month is added to your next bill on a pro-rata basis. Cancel anytime with no final cost or exit fees imposed.

Can I be invoiced and pay by bank transfer?

We understand every procurement and finance team is different. We're happy to accept invoiced payments for approved Enterprise customers.

What are Teams?

Teams are what your users or employees will subscribe or belong to. In most cases this would represent a physical place of work such as a worksite, or geographic region. But it's really up to you!

Can I have multiple administrators for my Company?

Absolutely, you can invite additional people to access and manage your Company account. Help spread the workload by allowing them to manage Stations and Users and send Bulletins.

How do I invite my workforce to Cribber?

The beauty of Cribber is how easy this is. All you need is a mobile number for each employee, then simply add them to a Team and they’re invited. They’ll receive an SMS with details of how to install Cribber and they will have an invite waiting for them when they sign in.

What kind of analytics do you provide?

When you create and send a bulletin to your Team(s), we track the recipients who view the message content, open each attachment and digitally sign the bulletin. This provides you with a complete audit trail for your critical communication. By monitoring read rate trends you can improve your communication over time.

Do I need to get my IT department involved?

Cribber works completely independently of your email system and servers on the cloud. For detailed information about the more technical elements of Cribber, view our Technical FAQs.

What enterprise software packages do you integrate with?

We happily work with our customers to integrate with their enterprise software systems. Managing Users and sending bulletins can be managed through our secure API. Email us at [email protected] to request this.

What should we put in our bulletins?

Bulletins are the heart of Cribber. We help you provide engaging bulletins with links and rich attachments to your workforce. Typical bulletins include: daily safety notices, site layout updates, key contacts, emergency alerts, progress updates, toolbox topics/meetings, rewards and recognition, weather reports, site photos… The possibilities are endless and depend on your specific needs.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, when you cancel your subscription there wont be any final payments required or exit fees.

Is Cribber available in other languages?

Currently the Cribber website and app UI is only available in English. However, you can still send bulletins and messages in any language.

What about privacy?

We take your privacy very seriously. You control the privacy settings for your Workplaces and the notices you publish. Your account details are kept secure and are only disclosed as per our Privacy Policy.
